Lol, I'll have to check it out. I'm desperate to find new anime that are up to the same quality as Fruits Basket, Ouran, Nana, Gakuen Alice etc, but seem to struggle. It's so sad :(

I know what you mean. Those are hard to top. My current faves (besides them) are
Kuroshitsuji (the series featured here. Only 12 episodes subbed currently)
Hakushaku to Yosei (fairy shoujo series, only 12 episodes)
Itazura na Kiss (a classic old shoujo series)
Fushigiboshi no Futago Hime (cute magic girl series)
Pretear (great shoujo, 13 episodes) and
Skip Beat (shoujo with a great, unique heroine). Those would be the series I'd recommend ^^
